Advice For New Drivers

"If you want to learn to drift do a lot of sim driving, I've had 5+ years on the sim and i can't express how easy drifting was after i got my car. It taught me alot about driving technique, leading + chasing and drastically changed my concept of drifting. I would also highly recommend getting seat time at a local track, but if you don't have one just find an empty lot or a distribution center and practice (make sure no houses are around lmfao). For building a car, I would drive the car to the absolute limit until you feel the need to upgrade or change the setup. Don't be afraid to DM people on IG for car setup and modification recommendations. As far as dailying just make sure you're up to date on fluids and always wash your car (ESPECIALLY IN WINTER). Lastly, style first, drifting second. What's the point in driving good if your shit doesn't look good. If you don't have the money then just wait and be patient until you do. I had my kit for 2 years unpainted because I was flat out broke and I’d rather die than have a car unpainted and 3sc4pe spec. Personally I see drifting as being style oriented and for some reason there are like 5 football helmet z’s at my local track smh. I get my inspiration from option/ Ikaten / early-late 2000s west japan style. A good gateway drug into this style would be JDM insider and after this you’ll fall into a rabbit hole of option lore and OG Japanese drift videos." -Ricky
