"I think a lot of newcomers to the platform fall victim to the stigma that this car doesn’t have enough power or has too much grip to break them loose, and that’s flat wrong. The main principle to always remember is that this car really comes alive above 4k especially if you’re not tuned, and you can’t pussy foot this car at all. Don’t be afraid to use the handbrake with stock angle as there really is not much to work with, and don’t be afraid to drive it like an AE86 (rev it out hard, clutch kick repeatedly, keep momentum up). You’ll be surprised at how much mechanical grip this car has and how it can keep up with turbo 90s cars in drift. Build step by step with this car, and learn it each step of the way. From coilovers, to inner tie rods, to a full on angle kit, to more power, learning and maximizing your potential at every stage of your 86 will allow you to really dial in your driving and become one with this chassis." -Borkus
