Don't fall for brands being over-promoted, do your research and ask for real-world reviews from knowledgeable drivers.

Record your driving with an action camera and review your mistakes.

Don't be shy to ask for advice, ride alongs, or just general help during track days.

Try different suspension set ups and learn how to change them yourself to be able to test them out regularly until you find what fits your needs.

Start with lower grip, but always strive to get more and more grip as you get comfortable with the car.

And don't think you can't hold up to 400whp cars without a turbo or a 2way/welded diff, the car is plenty capable on the stock drivetrain.
